WAJID HASSAN
It seems throughout my life I have been filled with all kinds of resentments about where I was born, how I was raised, opportunities missed, people who upset me, comparing my success with others thinking they had it better than me etc etc. I could go on and most of us I’m sure have had similar resentments. This can also be expanded to families, communities, groups, and even long-drawn-out resentments between countries that have sometimes not been resolved for centuries!
Today in this new Aquarian age of cooperation and understanding, it is important to examine resentments and gradually transmute them into action and service to others. In other words, no time to think, get busy!
Acceptance is the key.
I need to accept that I’m in exactly the place and position that I now see myself which I have created by my karmic actions for better or for worse.

We cannot and never will escape from this Divine Law. We do reap what we sow and if I can accept the present status quo, I can eventually move on from my past, my anger, my failings, my setbacks.
I can also not put myself down too much and can look back at my victories, my success in many aspects of life and understand that all experience is important in order to gain wisdom and evolve as spiritual beings.
On top of acceptance, forgiveness is the key. It’s been said that holding onto resentments is like taking poison hoping the other person will die.
Forgiveness is not easy and sometimes especially in my case it takes a long time to eventually forgive and move on, but I have to do that in order to make myself serene and therefore be of more service than if I was angry all the time.
Constant prayer and meditation are a great way of centering myself and realizing that all people are fallible and the only trust I can really have is from a divine power within and outside myself which is real, loving and kind and offers unconditional love.
The resentments between countries have for the most part spilled into the battlefield only to cause unwanted destruction and suffering to both sides.
Only the tides of the spiritual energy of love from a forgiving heart can bring peace and harmony in these most difficult days on planet Earth.
One way that helps me is to join similarly minded individuals and send this power as a collective which I do with people from many different countries and backgrounds.
